There is not doubt, we are going to see a second step to the recession and the real estate market will be in the eye of the hurricane experiencing it's own earthquake. What is apparently clear is that our leaders are unable to develop solutions that will control banks, make money available to borrowers to stimulate businesses, deal with the huge inventories already in the home market and the huge portfolios owned by the banks with overstated values. In some cases our leaders are FROZEN IN FEAR, in other cases they are FROZEN IN POLITICS, in other cases they are FROZEN IN LOBBYISTS and in other cases they are FROZEN IN IGNORANCE.
THE BOTTOM LINES IS, THINGS ARE GOING TO GET MUCH WORSE BEFORE THEY GET BETTER. The world is tied together and always in the past 100 years AMERICA CAME TO THE RESCUE OF THE WORLD-------BUT NOT THIS TIME. America is in the same pot with Europe other than Germany, all the great financial leaders of the past 100 years, America, Japan, England, France, Canada, Australia, were there to help the under developed and developing nations. Not any more.
What can you do? What can I do? WE HAVE TO TEAM UP WITH THE BEST OF THE BEST, work closely with "THE BEST IN THEIR CLASS" so whether it is getting a listing, making a sale, staging a home, marketing homes, promoting leads, converting leads, finding the very best LOAN ORIGINATORS with 65 money sources who have different requirements are more flexible with their rules, that make the clever deals, that provide the lowest rates, that service the clients so they are happy and feel WELL CARED FOR DURING THE LOAN PROCESS, so the TITLE COMPANY, ESCROW COMPANY, CREDIT REPAIR COMPANY ----so everyone you need to weave your way through an even more complex and more challenging more threacherous market than what we have recently experienced to date is the best of the best and on your team.
This is clearly not the time for using resources because it is the political thing to do but not the thing that will generate the most SALES AND INCOME. NOW WE ALL HAVE TO BE WORKING TO WIN, TO OVERCOME A NASTY MARKET WHERE MOST TRANSACTIONS WILL NEED GREAT CARE, LOTS OF HAND HOLDING AND CLEVER THINKING FROM BEGINNING TO END.
WINNERS PLAY TO WIN. You have to know what you are up against, anticipate the needs before they come and be prepared for what comes. We all have to rethink our businesses and rethink the market.
The web is already writing about the RentGen, the generation that will not aspire to own a home or condo but will be happy renting homes or condo or apartments or lofts. There are economists that are saying the America will become more like Europe, small cars, fuel efficient, with people living within miles of their work, in smaller homes, smaller apartments, and less traditional furniture and more IKEA type furniture. Many people believe there has already been a shift in the minds of young people, unemployed college graduates and the so many under-employed and un-employed and their children who see, there is nothing for sure any more and there is no sign of recovery not for years and years and years.
It's time to regroup!!
