GOOD-BYE 2011 THANK YOU FOR THE LESSONS

As you wind down 2011 and the Holiday approaches it is a good time to reflect on the year gone by. What were the pluses in the year for you, what went well, where were you blessed? It is important to appreciate your blessings. We all tend to focus too heavily on what we wish could be that didn't happen, which brings us down. It is important to live in gratitude and set aside some time to sit down and make a list of all your blessings this past year, in your personal life and in your business life. And, by making time to review the things that worked well for you in business, you can reflect on how to leverage those successful actions in 2012 while appreciating your own good work and giving yourself the recognition and respect you deserve for your successes.

It is also important to look at what didn't work well for you in 2011 and see if you can determine why these actions didn't produce what you had hoped for. Were your expectations or hopes unrealistic? Did you stay with it and give it time to get traction? Did you really give your very best effort? Were you focused, committed and unwavering in your pursuit of those activities that didn't bear fruit?

Every year is a learning experience. That is why the most successful people are usually those that have put in many years of trial and error, success and failure. What you surely don't want to do is miss the lessons. You want to make the most of the success and you want to learn all you can from the failures. So setting aside a few hours to go back through your calendar from this year and look at your activities and the events of the year can have a very beneficial payoff. Give it the time it deserves. You will be so happy you did this. Don't treat it lightly, really take the time to look back at the good, the bad and the ugly.

Now its time to begin to write down your PERSONAL AND BUSINESS GOALS for 2012.
