WHY SOCIAL MEDIA IS ESSENTIAL

We have to find leads every way we can. For real estate professionals it is about knocking on doors and walking neighborhoods, networking every week at social events, handing out business cards every time there is an opportunity, reminding past clients to keep them in mind when someone they know wants to buy or sell a home, chasing after FSBO listing, cancelled listings and everything else you can think of.

Today nearly 70% of home buyers and home sellers go to the Internet for information. If you knew that 70% of all prospective home buyers or prospective home sellers would drive up or down the 405 every day for three or four weeks, would you put up a billboard or two to attract them to you if you could afford the two billboards?

Of course you would do that. So the Internet is your 405 and you should have some billboards up to catch some of the traffic going by and SOCIAL MEDIA is your billboard.

I am going to devote my next few blogs to SOCIAL MEDIA---Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Linkedin and explain how these tools can help you get the attention of some of the home buyers or sellers in your area.

You do this by providing information that will help them. You are their CONSULTANT ON HOME BUYING OR HOME SELLING IN YOUR AREA. You tweet tips, you blog tips, and you WELCOME QUESTIONS and done right, you develop a dialog with your potential clients.

More to follow in subsequent postings.

BE WELL---Have you downloaded our FREE REPORT written for Real Estate Agents? You should check it out. I am sure there are things in there that will help you grow your business.
